My cousin went to our Hometown today, to Uncle's house.
The house is all locked up, but we left a couple windows open-like we took down the curtains to let in light.
Cousin has this big ideal that she is going to pay the delinquent taxes, and she's going to build a small house on my great aunt's lot.
The house burned to ground in '99, so it's an empty lot.
Then she wants her friend to, I assume, move into Uncle's house.
We all have told her, we've shown her pictures, the house is condemned.
I mean, this house is not able to be lived in nor can it be remodeled.
It's a total tear down.
The two lots are side by side.
So, she said her friend looked in the window, and it had to have been the front door window, and there was a light on in the bedroom off the kitchen.
The power was cut off to the house in May.
Friend checked the meter out, and it was not running.
This is the same room, the last time we went up there, that Hippie Aunt's grandson kept turning off.
It cut on three or four times.
He'd go, flip the light off, and in a few minutes back on it would go.
He was freaked out considerably.
There was no power to the house then, but in the basement bedroom, the light kept turning on.
And somehow, husband managed to turn a bedside light on in Uncle's room, which was totally weird-but no one questioned it.
Apparently the light stayed on the whole time Cousin was up there.
That wasn't the only odd thing.
Cousin has two chihuahuas, one of them walked up to the front door, and sat like she was listening to something.
Then she started talking-however, a chihuahua talks.
Then she started scratching at the door, trying to go inside.
So, Cousin put her in her crate in the car, and she started whining.
So, she took her back out, thinking she needed to use the bathroom.
Nope, she calmly walked up the driveway, went to the door, got all excited, and cried to go inside.
Cousin says her dog is a sensitive, and a very good judge of character-dead or alive, I presume.
She thinks it's my mother, Uncle, or our grandmother.
Or the ghosts of the chihuahuas my granny owned.
I would never let my guard down in that house.
Good character sniffing chihuahua or not.
I have seen things in that house that was pure evil.
I guess that answers one question.
If you have a highly active house, it stays active whether someone is living there or not.
